Armenia intends to participate in Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan
YEREVAN, November 10. /ARKA/. Armenian Economy Minister Vahan Kerobyan and Japanese Ambassador to Armenia Fukushima Masanori discussed today Kerobyan's planned visit to Japan, as well as a number of issues related to Armenia's participation in Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan.
The Ambassador was quoted by the ministry's press office as saying that the Japanese market is interested, in particular, in Armenia's agricultural products, as well as Armenian culture and history.
The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition will host Nov. 14-15 representatives from different countries that have confirmed their participation in Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan to provide various information regarding pavilion exhibitions.
The theme of the Expo, "Creating a Future Society for Our Lives," challenges people to think about how they want to live and how they can maximize their potential.
According to Armenian National Statistical Committee, the trade turnover between Armenia and Japan in the first 9 months of 2023 amounted to $297.4 million, having increased 2.8 times in comparison to January-September of the last year. -0-
