Armenia will exhibit at the Expo 2027 World Exhibition in Belgrade with a separate pavilion, announced Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan during a meeting with Serbian Ambassador to Armenia Tatjana Cvetkovic.
YEREVAN, March 26. /ARKA/. Armenia will exhibit at the Expo 2027 World Exhibition in Belgrade with a separate pavilion, announced Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan during a meeting with Serbian Ambassador to Armenia Tatjana Cvetkovic.
According to the ministry's press service, the exhibition will be held in the Serbian capital from May 15 to August 15, 2027.
Andreasyan noted that Armenia and Serbia have significant potential for cooperation in education, science, culture, sports, and youth policy, the realization of which could contribute to the deepening of bilateral relations.
The formation of an intergovernmental commission on economic, scientific, and technical cooperation between Armenia and Serbia was also discussed at the meeting.
The parties also discussed prospects for intensifying cooperation in education, emphasizing the importance of expanding partnerships between universities and developing international exchange and academic mobility programs.
According to Andreasyan, the Serbian language has been taught at Yerevan State University since October 14, 2024, and has generated considerable interest among students. The minister proposed exploring the possibility of teaching Armenian at a university in Serbia.
