The turnover of the service sector in Armenia for the period of January to October 2025 was recorded at 3,332,456.5 million drams (at current prices), reflecting a 10.8% increase compared to the same period in 2024, as reported by the Statistical Committee.

YEREVAN, November 10. /ARKA/. The turnover of the service sector in Armenia for the period of January to October 2025 was recorded at 3,332,456.5 million drams (at current prices), reflecting a 10.8% increase compared to the same period in 2024, as reported by the Statistical Committee.

In October 2025, this figure stood at 352,916.8 million drams, marking a 7.9% rise compared to October of the previous year, although there was a 2% decrease compared to September of the same year.

Within the overall structure of the services sector, the financial and insurance activities hold the largest share at 32.4%, amounting to 1,078,314.6 million drams, which is a 15.4% increase compared to the first ten months of last year.

The information and communication sector represents 20.3% (678,396.4 million drams, an increase of 19.5%), while transport accounts for 11.4% (379,615.1 million drams, a decrease of 2.6%). The accommodation and public catering sector holds 9.1% (304,567.0 million drams, an increase of 4.3%), and the culture, entertainment, and recreation activities sector comprises 7.9% (263,794.6 million drams, an increase of 3.7%).

Professional, scientific, and technical activities make up 4.5% (149,468.8 million drams, with a growth of 9.1%), healthcare and social security account for 4.4% (146,895.1 million drams, with a growth of 10.2%), real estate-related activities represent 3.6% (119,236.1 million drams, with a growth of 10.7%), administrative and auxiliary activities comprise 3.4% (112,148.8 million drams, with a growth of 13.1%), and education accounts for 2.2% (64,918.0 million drams, with a growth of 2.3%).
