YEREVAN, February 3. /ARKA/. In the event of developments in Iran that could negatively impact Armenia, the country's financial system is prepared to counter them, stated Martin Galstyan, Chairman of the Central Bank of Armenia.
According to him, three possible scenarios are being discussed: the first is an apocalyptic scenario, i.e., military action against sovereign Iranian territory involving physical forces; the second is air strikes; the third is rhetorical appeals.
"All three of these scenarios are being discussed. We are preparing by properly configuring our system's tools and buffers," he said at a press conference on Tuesday, responding to a question from the ARKA news agency.
