YEREVAN, April 2. /ARKA/. Armenia's exports to the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) countries have grown 12.5-fold since 2015, while over the same period, (Armenian) exports to the EU and the US grew only 1.53-fold and 2.2-fold, respectively, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk said in an interview with TASS.

According to him, the export dynamics clearly demonstrate that "in the real world, Armenian entrepreneurs are making money in the markets of EAEU member states."

"In 2015, the year Armenia joined the EAEU, Armenia's exports to the EU were 1.2 times higher than those to the EAEU. Subsequent trends show that over the past 10 years, Armenian exports to the EU have grown by 1.53 times, to the US by 2.2 times, and to the EAEU by 12.5 times," Overchuk noted.

In this regard, the Russian Deputy Prime Minister noted that the presented figures "illustrate the real level of interest among Armenia's trading partners in purchasing products from its producers."
