YEREVAN, October 27. /ARKA/. Armenia's economic growth forecast for 2025 has been revised upward from 5.1% to 5.2%, and for 2026 – from 5.1% to 5.4%, said Armenian Finance Minister Vahe Hovhannisyan.

"The target deflator growth (GDP for 2026 – ed.) was projected to be within 3%, while the forecast for 2025 has been revised upward from 2.5% to 2.6%," he said on Monday during a discussion of the draft 2026 state budget.

According to Hovhannisyan, economic growth will primarily be driven by growth in the services and industrial sectors, while demand-side growth will be driven by domestic demand and exports of domestic products.

"In 2027 and 2028, economic growth will also be driven by growth in the service and industrial sectors, as well as domestic and external demand," he said.
