Armenia’s domestic trade ups to 3.6 trillion drams over a period of seven months, reflecting an increase of 4.2%
YEREVAN, September 9. /ARKA/. For the period of January to July 2025, the domestic trade turnover in Armenia was reported at 3,551,059.8 million drams (at current prices), which represents a 4.2% increase compared to the same period in 2024, as stated by the National Statistical Committee.
Additionally, in July 2025, this figure was recorded at 581,928.5 million drams, marking a 3% rise compared to July 2024, and a 7% increase compared to June of the same year.
Overall, the wholesale trade turnover for the reporting period totaled 2,332,503.3 million drams (with a share of 65.7%, showing a growth of 4% compared to the previous year), while the retail trade turnover was 1,078,413.3 million drams (with a share of 30.4%, reflecting a growth of 4.5%), and the automobile trade turnover amounted to 140,143.2 million drams (with a share of 3.9%, indicating a growth of 6.8%).
Еhe share of shops in the total retail turnover constituted 83.3% (898,496.7 million drams, growth - 3.7%), the share of consumer goods markets was 3.5% (37,348.9 million drams, decline - 2.4%), kiosks accounted for 1.2% (13,233.3 million drams, growth - 1.6%), agricultural markets represented 0.9% (9,209.8 million drams, growth - 5.1%), and other trade facilities made up 11.1% (120,124.6 million drams, growth - 13.5%).
