YEREVAN, March 17. /ARKA/. Armenia plans to develop a "road map" for road accidents, announced Vaghinak Yeghiazaryan, Executive Director of the RA Auto Insurers' Bureau.

"This mechanism will allow us to analyze the causes of accidents and develop measures to reduce them," he said at a press conference on Tuesday.

Yeghiazaryan noted that work on this area is being carried out jointly with the Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs.

He also announced plans to create a database of "Safe Points," where, in the event of an accident, people can quickly report the incident, contact the insurance company and the police, record the incident, and receive the necessary assistance.

Furthermore, he said, the possibility of using drones for rapid response to accidents is being considered. Details of the project and the companies involved were not specified.
