Armenia improves standing in Global Innovation Index 2025

YEREVAN, September 29. /ARKA/. Tigran Jrbashyan, the Director of Management Consulting at Ameria, provided insights regarding Armenia's enhanced ranking in the Global Innovation Index 2025.

Armenia has advanced from 63rd to 59th position in the Global Innovation Index 2025, surpassing Azerbaijan (94th) and Iran (70th), yet trailing behind Russia (51st), Georgia (56th), and Turkey (43rd).

"The advancement of Armenia in the global innovation index represents a significant encouragement; however, for sustainable success, it is crucial to cultivate genuine export sophistication rather than merely re-exports, bolster startup funding and entrepreneurial culture, invest in human capital and research capabilities, and enhance technological infrastructure and political stability," Jrbashyan stated in a Facebook post.

He emphasized that only a comprehensive strategy will guarantee Armenia's ability to sustain competitive growth, as opposed to a piecemeal approach.-0-
