Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan and UAE Minister of Foreign Trade Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi signed an agreement on trade in services and investment between the governments of Armenia and the United Arab Emirates in Abu Dhabi.

YEREVAN, February 6. /ARKA/. Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan and UAE Minister of Foreign Trade Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi signed an agreement on trade in services and investment between the governments of Armenia and the United Arab Emirates in Abu Dhabi.

According to the press service of the Armenian government, the document was signed in the presence of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Pashinyan noted that the Armenian government attaches importance to the consistent development of trade and economic relations with the UAE, emphasizing the significant potential and the necessary will to realize it.

The parties discussed issues related to the implementation of joint economic programs and exchanged views on other topics of mutual interest. The parties emphasized the importance of organizing high-level reciprocal visits. According to Armstat, foreign trade turnover between Armenia and the UAE by the end of 2025 amounted to $2.13 billion, a 60% decrease compared to 2024.
