YEREVAN, December 22. /ARКА/. The Armenian Minister of Economy, Gevorg Papoyan, and the Egyptian Minister of Agriculture, Alaa Farouk, engaged in discussions regarding investment opportunities and export potential between their countries.

Their conversation focused on the prospects for collaboration in agriculture and agro-industrial sectors, particularly the investment opportunities aimed at enhancing food and beverage production capacity in Armenia by utilizing local raw materials for export to Egypt and other international markets, as reported by the press service of the Armenian Ministry of Economy.

Additionally, the ministers recognized the advancement of agriculture in regions facing water scarcity and non-irrigated areas as another promising avenue for cooperation.

Papoyan extended an invitation to Farouk to attend the "Crossroads of Peace" investment summit, scheduled to take place in Armenia in 2026.-0-
