Armenia’s industrial output grew 14.3% in October 2011, compared with the same month a year earlier, to AMD 88.7 billion, National Statistical Service of Armenia reports.
YEREVAN, November 21. /ARKA/. Armenia’s industrial output grew 14.3% in October 2011, compared with the same month a year earlier, to AMD 88.7 billion, National Statistical Service of Armenia reports.
However, it shrank 3.4%, compared with September 2011.
According to the statistical report, 461.8 million kilowatt/hour of electric energy was generated in the country in October – 4.4% year-on-year decline.
Agriculture sector built up its output by 7.7% in October 2011, compared with October 2010, to AMD 117 billion, but accounted for 36.2% month-on-month decline.
Construction sector faced 25% year-on-year decline and 6.7% month-on-month decline in October (AMD 46.2 billion). ($1 – AMD 383.95). -0---
