YEREVAN, November 14. /ARKA/. Possibilities of adaptation of foreign companies to the peculiarities of Armenian market were represented in the seminar of the 1st session of the forum of managers and directors which took place in Yerevan in the frames of the program “Phillip Kotler in Armenia: 11.11.11”.

For participation in the given program, Professor of international marketing of high school of management of J.L.Kellog in North-West University of USA, classic of marketing Phillip Kotler arrived in Yerevan on Sunday with five-day visit.

“Such an event allows us to make a serious step in the direction of development of marketing, business and knowledge in this sphere. The shine that I saw in the eyes of the participants of the seminar, allows me to conclude that they were satisfied with the seminar and it was productive for them”, said the head of the program “Phillip Kotler in Armenia: 11.11.11” Armen Sargsyan.

Participants of the 1st session, Commercial Director of the holding “Avto Radio” and “Yerevan FM” Zara Karakhanyan said that the most valuable information provided by Kotler to the participants of the seminar were the principles and possible options of adaptation of the main principles of global marketing to the Armenian reality.

We are seriously behind the global tendencies in the sphere of marketing and such seminars provide opportunity to see the real opportunities and potential of our market. Of course, it is impossible to learn something new in a couple of hours, but it is possible to discuss the opportunities of integration of foreign companies in the Armenian market on certain examples”, said Karakhanyan.

The program “Phillip Kotler in Armenia: 11.11.11” initiated by the Armenian Marketing Association is called to provide dynamic development of Armenia and transfer from extensive management to developed and prosperous management. It is also targeted at changing the understanding of the role and meaning of marketing in Armenia, introduction of new and modern rules of business conduction applying new marketing instruments, including Kotler’s program “Marketing 3.0”.
