The company “South-Caucasian Railway” in January-September 2011 was included in the group of three of the largest employers of Armenia, press-service of SCR informed ARKA News Agency.
YEREVAN, November 10. /ARKA/. The company “South-Caucasian Railway” in January-September 2011 was included in the group of three of the largest employers of Armenia, press-service of SCR informed ARKA News Agency.
The company has taken the fifth place among 1000 local companies by the size of social security mandatory payments to the state budget.
SCR General Director Shevket Shaydulin said that social policy and social protection of the employees is the means of development and increase of productivity for the company which increases competitiveness of the company in the labor market and allows to attract new specialists.
“In 2011 the company increased efficiency of business-processes, profitability and optimization of capacities. This year will also becomes for us a time when the road enters break-even level.”, said Shaydulin.
SCR takes 53rd position in the list of State Revenue Committee of Armenia among 1000 largest taxpayers by the results of January-September.
CJSC “South-Caucasus Railway” is a 100% subsidiary of OJSC “Russian Railways” implementing concession management of CJSC “Armenian Railways” according to the Concession Agreement signed on February 13, 2008. Term of the concession is 30 years with the right of extension for another 10 years. -0-
