Armenia’s State Revenue Committee has placed Zangezur Copper and Molybdenum Combine atop the Jan-Sept 2011 list of the country’s 1,000 largest taxpayers.
YEREVAN, November 7. /ARKA/. Armenia’s State Revenue Committee has placed Zangezur Copper and Molybdenum Combine atop the Jan-Sept 2011 list of the country’s 1,000 largest taxpayers.
The company transferred AMD 22.6 billion to the government budget over the period between January and September 2011 against AMD 8.8 million at the same period a year before.
AMD 21.4 billion was sent to the budget as taxes and 1.2 billion as customs duties.
Direct taxes (profit and income taxes) amounted to AMD 12.9 billion, indirect taxes, such as value added tax and excise tax, amounted to AMD 4.1 billion, and other taxes, duties and mandatory payments amounted to AMD 5.5 billion.
ArmRosgasprom was the second largest taxpayer in Jan-Sept 2011. The company sent more than AMD 15.9 billion over this period against AMD 12.9 billion in the same period a year earlier.
Of this amount, AMD 15.6 billion was collected by tax agencies, and the remaining AMD 315.3 million by customs agencies.
K-Telecom branded as VivaCell-MTS came third in the list by sending more than AMD 12.3 billion in Jan-Sept 2011 against AMD 12.2 billion paid at the same period of the previous year.
Alex Grig paid AMD 11.9 billion in Jan-Sept 2011 against AMD 12.6 billion a year earlier, ArmenTel telecommunication company traded as Beeline transferred AMD 9.7 billion to the government budget against AMD 11.1 billion.
City Petrol Group and Armenian Electrical Networks sent AMD 7.8 billion and AMD 7.6 billion respectively in Jan-Sept 2011.
All the 1,000 largest taxpayers transferred AMD 318.5 billion to the government budget in Jan-Sept 2011 against AMD 318.5 billion in Jan-Sept 2010. ($1 = AMD 380.47).-–0—-
