Monthly Salary In September In Armenia Increased By 0.8% To 114 463 Drams

According to preliminary assessments, nominal monthly salary in September 2011 in Armenia was 114 463 drams ($307. 223 euro or 9421 ruble) which is by 0.8% more than the indicator in August, Armenian National Statistic Service informs.
YEREVAN, October 31. /ARKA/. According to preliminary assessments, nominal monthly salary in September 2011 in Armenia was 114 463 drams ($307. 223 euro or 9421 ruble) which is by 0.8% more than the indicator in August, Armenian National Statistic Service informs.
According to statistical data, the salary in September 2011 compared to the same period in 2010 increased by 7.1%.
In August 2011, nominal monthly salary in the country was 113 554 drams which is by 4.1% less than the indicator of July and by 7.2% more than in August 2010.
The highest nominal monthly salary in August 2011 was registered in Syunik region – 144.1 thousand drams, and the lowest salary was registered in Aragatsotn region - about 77 thousand drams. In Yerevan nominal monthly salary in August 2011 was over 113.5 thousand drams.
In total, the highest salaries as of August 2011 were registered in financial and insurance spheres (over 269.8 thousand drams), in the sphere of information and communication (about 252.4 thousand drams), mining industry (over 241.7 thousand drams), construction sphere (over 153 thousand drams), energy, gas and steam supply (about 150.6 thousand drams) and in the sphere of state management (over 127.8 thousand drams).
The lowest salaries as of August 2011 in Armenia was in the sphere of culture where the salaries were slightly more than 62.6 thousand drams, education – over 76.4 thousand drams, accommodation and catering exceeded 77.3 thousand drams, services – over 77.6 thousand dramas and agriculture and forestry, as well as fishery - 77.7 thousand drams.
