YEREVAN, June 4. /ARKA/. Yerevan is hosting the first major high-tech exhibition and forum, "RISE Powered by Silicon Mountains 2026."
More than 40 defense industry enterprises are presenting their domestic products at this venue. The event's motto is "We Are Our Mountains. Ascent."
"The main goal was to unite science, innovation, engineering, and the military-industrial complex on a single platform," noted Eduard Musaelyan, Executive Director of the Union of ICT Employers.
Minister of High-Tech Industry Mkhitar Hayrapetyan reported that, as part of the first three-year program, the state has allocated approximately 172 billion drams to the industry through the ordering system.
"We consider the exhibition a success. “That’s why the government has made another important, pivotal decision: to continue the practice of long-term contracts, which has already been enshrined in the decisions made under the 190 billion drams,” Hayrapetyan noted.
