Taxi rules to become stricter in Armenia from September 1
YEREVAN, August 15. /ARKA/. New regulations in the field of passenger transportation by taxis will come into force in Armenia from September 1, the press service of the State Revenue Committee reports.
In particular, they will be required to join the electronic system of the tax authority and provide electronic cash receipts.
To carry out passenger transportation, it will also be necessary to have a license and pay a state fee. Those taxi drivers who will not have the appropriate license, and the calculation of the state fee will be less than the established amount, will be fined 500 thousand drams.
The innovation provides for another fine - in the case of passenger transportation without an electronic receipt from the cash register or violation of the rules for its use, taxi drivers will have to pay 200 thousand drams for each case. ($1 - 388.26 drams) -0-
