Some 366 trucks with Armenian apricots crossed border into Russia
YEREVAN, June 23. /ARKA/. From June 1 to June 20 this year, 366 trucks loaded with Armenian apricots have already crossed the Russian customs border, Armenian Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan said.
“A small number of vehicles were turned back due to documentation issues,” Papoyan wrote on his Facebook page.
The head of the Ministry of Economy promised to regularly publish information on this topic.
Earlier, Armenian trucks carrying cognac encountered problems at the Upper Lars checkpoint on the Georgian-Russian border. Due to additional laboratory tests requested by the Georgian side, dozens of trucks were unable to enter Russia for about two months. The problem was resolved in early June after the intervention of the Armenian Ministry of Economy.
