YEREVAN, November 13. /ARKA/. On Thursday, a scandal unfolded in the meeting room of the PSRC of Armenia prior to the discussion of the sole agenda item: the revocation of ENA's electricity distribution license.

The ENA representatives, who arrived shortly before the meeting commenced, voiced their displeasure regarding the seating arrangements for the attendees, as well as the presence of ENA's interim manager, Romanos Petrosyan.

Former Acting Director General of ENA, David Ghazinyan, stated that Petrosyan is unrelated to the subject matter of the PSRC meeting today.

A verbal exchange took place between lawyer Aram Orbelyan, who represents ENA, and the journalists present.

Romanos Petrosyan and Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure David Khudatyan then entered the meeting room. When journalists inquired about their presence, Petrosyan responded with irritation, reminding them that he had been the head of ENA for several months.

He urged PSRC Chairman Mesrop Mesropyan to restore order so that the meeting could commence.

Mesropyan instructed the journalists to take their designated seats, after which the meeting was officially opened.

Once the meeting was underway, Vardan Aloyan, the lawyer for ENA, proposed a motion to dismiss the PSRC chairman, arguing that, as the leader of a de jure independent commission, he is a political figure.

This claim was supported by the lawyer's reference to the chairman's previous work experience, including his time as governor of Kotayk several years ago and his affiliation with the ruling Civil Contract party. -0-
