Russian Red Wings airline is launching today direct flights between Ufa, the capital city of Russian republic of Bashkortostan and Armenian capital Yerevan, Russian news agency Tass reported.

YEREVAN, March 31. /ARKA/. Russian Red Wings airline is launching today direct flights between Ufa, the capital city of Russian republic of Bashkortostan and Armenian capital Yerevan, Russian news agency Tass reported.

It said Red Wings will operate one flight a week on Fridays. The travel time is 3 hours and 20 minutes. Flights between Bashkortostan and Armenia are operated also by another Russian airline Azimut and Armenian Shirak Avia.

Red Wings already connects Yerevan with 11 Russian cities: Moscow, Yekaterinburg, Zhukovski, Kazan, Makhachkala, Mineralnye Vody, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, Sochi, Makhachkala and Chelyabinsk.

Red Wings is one of the ten largest Russian airlines, specializing in scheduled and charter passenger transportation. -0-
