Production of exclusive fruit dryer machines launched in Armenia
YEREVAN, December 9. /ARKA/. An innovative portable fruit dryer machine equipped with solar air and water heating, a heat pump and other modern technologies has been produced in Armenia, creating new opportunities in the field of dried fruit production, Acba bank said today in a press release.
It said the dryer is also unique in the international market.
The first portable fruit dryer in Armenia was designed and manufactured by Optimum Energy company. This dryer saves 30-60% more energy than the best existing dryers. It works both on electricity and solar energy. Due to the energy savings, the cost of dried fruit is quite low.
The first portable dryer in Armenia was purchased by ArLEam Company within the framework of the state subsidy program financed by ACBA Leasing.
With ACBA Leasing financing, it is possible to purchase the dryers under the state supported agricultural equipment leasing program at a 0% interest rate.
"We are introducing a new offer and are confident that it will make a great contribution to the production of Armenian dried fruits in terms of volume and quality. Today, ACBA Leasing actively cooperates with Optimum Energy and Aregi companies, whose equipment we have leased under the state subsidy program. We have quite successful experience and cooperation of many years; we are sure that in the nearest future our cooperation will expand further," said CEO of ACBA Leasing Aghasi Gasparyan.
For his part, Manuk Khudoyan, director of ArLEAM, said the company is engaged in intensive farming, growing apple, apricot and pear orchards.
"Using secondary processing and seeing Armenian innovations, we decided to be the first to purchase a dryer and get dried fruit from our own orchard. We have been working with ACBA Leasing for a long time. We are glad that ACBA Leasing joined this program of Armenian production, and we were able to take advantage of it," Khudoyan said.
Armen Gharibyan, co-founder of Optimum Energy and Aregi, said Optimum Energy designed and built the unit, and ACBA Leasing was the first to believe and implement the first financing with zero government support fund.
"From now on, anyone wishing to purchase such a portable energy-efficient dryer can get it through ACBA Leasing. Solar energy is used in the equipment in two ways: to heat air and water. Pumps and, energy-saving devices are used, and air flow is ensured so that the fruit dries evenly. We have smart control and management logic, which is one of the most important, because the devices have to work in the right order to ensure maximum energy savings, maximum high quality with fast drying," said Gharibyan.
