Payments Directly from Bank Accounts: Ameriabank joins ArcaQR

YEREVAN, October 1. /ARКА/. Armenian Card CJSC introduces ArcaQR, a unified QR payment system enabling instant payments directly from bank accounts with a single scan. Officially launching on September 30, ArcaQR simplifies daily payments, making them fast, easy, and accessible for everyone.

ArcaQR system participant banks’ users can log into their mobile banking app, scan the QR code, and make payments directly from any bank account.

Vardan Khachatryan, CEO of Armenian Card CJSC, stated: “ArcaQR is another step towards fostering a cashless payment culture in Armenia. We are confident that QR payments will become part of everyday life — offering convenience to consumers, an easy and affordable payment option to businesses, and a way to increase mobile app engagement to the partner banks.”

Ardshinbank, AraratBank, Armeconombank, Evocabank and Converse Bank have also joined the ArcaQR system.
