Lex Tobacco Company to invest AMD 36.7 billion in tobacco production in Armenia

YEREVAN, January 8. /ARKA/. Lex Tobacco Company LLC intends to invest in raw material imports in Armenia.

By government decision, the company will take advantage of an import duty exemption as part of an investment program implemented in a priority sector.

The program envisages an investment of AMD 32.4 billion in raw material acquisitions, as well as AMD 4.3 billion in capital investments.

By the year 2028, it is anticipated that the workforce will grow from the current 258 to 333 employees. The exemption from customs duties is projected to be around AMD 2 billion.-0-
