Government gets down to development of digital agenda

The government of Armenia got down to development of Digital Agenda, which according to prime minister Karen Karapetyan is aimed at improving management, ensuring a transparent and favorable business environment and shaping a unified digital environment in all sectors of public administration.

The government of Armenia got down to development of Digital Agenda, which according to prime minister Karen Karapetyan is aimed at improving management, ensuring a transparent and favorable business environment and shaping a unified digital environment in all sectors of public administration.
"We have involved seasoned international and local experts as the implementation of the modern digital agenda requires professional and coordinated approaches," Karapetyan said to a Cabinet meeting today. He told relating agencies to submit their proposals to the Center for Strategic Initiatives and the Digital Armenia Foundation by November 30.
On August 3, the Armenian government decided to establish the Digital Armenia Foundation whose tasks are to improve management efficiency, ensure transparency and favorable business environment through the use of modern information technologies. -0-
