France’s best winemaker appreciates the quality of Armenian wines

The best sommelier of Europe in 2000 and the best winemaker of France, Franck Thomas, who participated in a recent wine tasting and conducted a master class in Yerevan, tasted local wine according to a unique method developed by him, the press service of the Armenian Agriculture Ministry reported, saying the sommelier appreciated the quality of Armenian wine.

The best sommelier of Europe in 2000 and the best winemaker of France, Franck Thomas, who participated in a recent wine tasting and conducted a master class in Yerevan, tasted local wine according to a unique method developed by him, the press service of the Armenian Agriculture Ministry reported, saying the sommelier appreciated the quality of Armenian wine.
"Armenia is an interesting country to me, as it is one of the wine-producing countries, a country rich in traditions and history. Armenian wines, made of local varieties of grape, can take their special place in the international market," the sommelier stressed. According to him, if he tested Armenian wine at a store, he would certainly buy it.
Frank Thomas arrived in Armenia at the invitation of Armen Mehrabyan, an advisor to the minister of agriculture and with the assistance of the Armenian Winemaking Foundation, the Dynamic Development Group International, TOVMASYAN Exceptional Food and Beverage, Fine Food and Welfusion companies.-0-
