Armenian-Swiss trade in 2017 amounts to over $200 million

In 2017, Armenia enjoyed a positive balance in trading with Switzerland, the chairman of the Armenian National Assembly Ara Babloyan said today at a joint news conference with the visiting chairman of the National Council of Switzerland, Dominique de Buman.
YEREVAN, February 6. /ARKA/. In 2017, Armenia enjoyed a positive balance in trading with Switzerland, the chairman of the Armenian National Assembly Ara Babloyan said today at a joint news conference with the visiting chairman of the National Council of Switzerland, Dominique de Buman. He said Armenian exports to Switzerland in the first 10 months of 2017 grew to $209 million, and imports totaled $163 million.
In turn, de Buman noted that last year the countries recorded a historic achievement as for the first time the trade turnover between them exceeded $200 million.
According to Armenia’s National Statistical Service, Armenia's trade turnover with Switzerland in 2017 amounted to $366.8 million, with the positive trade balance standing at $171.97 million ($ 1 - 481.98 drams). -0-
