Armenia to lower duty-free online trade threshold to 200 euros

YEREVAN, March 29. /ARKA/. Armenia’s State Revenue Committee (SRC) has announced today that on April 1, 2024 the preferential regime with increased threshold for duty-free online trade of goods for personal use by individuals will be canceled.

The temporary preferential regime was introduced by the Eurasian Economic Commission on March 18, 2022 and was supposed to increase the duty-free threshold from €200 to €1,000.

However, in Armenia the threshold was set at AMD 200 thousand due to stricter requirements of the national legislation.

This decision of the EEC has been continuously extended, but the State Revenue Committee of Armenia will not extend. Accordingly, the duty-free threshold will return to the level of 200 euros and 31 kg. -0-
