Ardshinbank is Armenia’s #1 taxpayer in direct taxes
YEREVAN, January 30. /ARKA/. Based on data released by the State Revenue Committee of the Republic of Armenia on taxes and duties, as of December 31, 2025, Ardshinbank ranks first among Armenian banks for total tax payments and is listed among the top five of Armenia’s 1,000 largest taxpayers.
As of 2025, Ardshinbank has become Armenia’s largest direct taxpayer, contributing 38 billion AMD to the state budget. Including 2.2 billion AMD in indirect taxes and other taxes and duties, the bank’s total tax payments reached 42.6 billion AMD. This figure also includes 2.4 billion AMD in tax contributions from Ardshininvestbank, which merged with Ardshinbank on April 21, 2025.
“This indicator is key for us. It is the result of Ardshinbank’s skillful financial management, transparent operations, and the implementation of our long-term strategy. We consistently fulfill our obligations to the state, recognizing that taxes are not only a responsibility but also an investment in the country’s economic stability, development, and future. This is yet another vivid manifestation of our slogan,” noted the bank’s Chief Financial Officer, Garegin Gevorgyan.
It should be noted that Ardshinbank consistently ensures large-scale payments to the state budget and demonstrates growth in both profit tax and income tax. Of the transfers made by Ardshinbank to the budget in 2025, 26.9 billion AMD was paid in profit tax and 11.1 billion AMD in income tax. In addition, 1.8 billion AMD and 0.5 billion AMD were respectively paid by Ardshininvestbank.
