Ameriabank to forgive penalties and fines on written-off loans

Following a proposal of the Armenian government, Ameriabank decided to forgive fines and penalties on all written-off loans provided to individuals as of May 31, 2018.
YEREVAN, July 3. /ARKA/. Following a proposal of the Armenian government, Ameriabank decided to forgive fines and penalties on all written-off loans provided to individuals as of May 31, 2018.
The Yerevan-based bank said in a press release that borrowers of such loans should visit a bank branch before the end of 2018 to discuss the repayment of the principal amount and accrued interest.
In addition to this, the bank decided to fully cede penalties and penalties on unsecured written-off loans to individual clients worth up to 5 million provided as of May 31, 2018.
