YEREVAN, August 21. /ARКА/. Vellar Group LLC intends to invest 8 billion drams into its chocolate and confectionery factory, which was established approximately a year ago in Yerevan.

According to a decision made by the Armenian government, the company will be exempt from customs duties on the importation of equipment essential for production, amounting to 553 million drams. The total value of the customs exemption is estimated to be 51 million drams.

It has been reported that the investor aims to allocate 100 million drams for construction activities, 6 billion drams for the purchase of fixed assets, 1 billion drams for infrastructure development, and 900 million drams for various services.

At present, the factory has 110 registered positions with an average monthly salary of 598 thousand drams, and it is projected that by 2028, the number of jobs will increase to 900, with an average monthly salary of 353 thousand drams. ($1 - 382.7 drams).-0-
