About 87% of Armenians are positive about influx of Russian citizens

YEREVAN, April 8. /ARKA/. Some 86.6% of respondents of a public opinion survey conducted by the Armenian office of GALLUP International Association are positive about the arrival of a large number of people from Russia, prompted by the Russian special operation in Ukraine.
The findings of the survey were unveiled today at a press conference by the head of the Armenian office Aram Navasardian.
More specifically, 47.8% of respondents are "completely positive" about the influx of Russian citizens. Another 38.8% of the respondents have a "rather positive" attitude, 5.2% have a "rather negative" attitude and 6.6% "absolutely negative' attitude.
Also 85.2% of the respondents think that the relocation and the transfer of businesses to Armenia will have a positive impact on the country's economy.
Earlier, Armenian Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan said that about 50,000 people have relocated to Armenia.
The GALLUP International Association survey was conducted in Armenia on April 2-6 among 1,002 respondents via phone calls. -0-
