“We have been cooperating with the agency for many years and have always seen the professionalism and impartiality of its staff,’ the message says.

His message commends the agency for comprehensive coverage of economic problems and events, for analyzing and identifying special features of the local economy, revealing threats, challenges and expectations of the financial and economic sectors.

“It is a pleasure to see that the agency’s work has been assessed on the highest government level . We wish you long life and new achievements,’ the message says.

ARKA news agency was established on May 1, 1996 May to provide financial, economic and political news. The professional credo of the agency is credibility, reliability and quick response. In 2000 it was recognized by the Central Bank of Armenia as the best economic news agency. In 2002 and 2003 ARKA was awarded by Business Initiative Directions the International Star Award for Quality in category Gold.

On May 2 Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sarkisian awarded Director of ARKA News Agency, Konstantin Petrosov, Prime Minister’s Commemorative Medal, in connection with May 1 Labor Day and on the occasion of the agency’s 15-year anniversary and in recognition of its active participation in the comprehensive coverage of economic development issues. -0-
