Electricity generation in Armenia ups by 7.1% over first eight months to 6.5 billion kWh

Armenian power generating facilities produced 6,508.1 million kWh of electricity in January-August 2025, a 7.1% increase compared to January-August 2024, according to data published by the Statistical Committee.

Over 6.8 billion kWh of electricity was generated in Armenia in January-September 2024, which is 3% more than in the same period of 2023, the National Statistical Committee of Armenia said.
