Incidence of intestinal infections in Armenia increased 1.2 times in first half of 2022

The incidence of intestinal infections in Armenia increased 1.2 times in the first half of this year compared to the same time span of 2021, Romella Abovyan, head of a department at the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention, overseeing infectious and non-infectious diseases, said today.

Symptoms of intestinal infection revealed with 296 residents of Sisian

Thirteen residents of Sisian, a town in southern Armenian province of Syunik, were diagnosed on May 9-11 to have intestinal infection, and 5 of them were hospitalized, the press service of the Ministry of Health reported.
