Private remittances to Armenia fell by 2.5% in four months

Private remittances sent to Armenia in the first four months of 2016 via banks fell by 2.5% year-on-year to $377.7 million, the Central Bank of Armenia said in its monthly bulletin for April 2016.

Gross median salary in Armenia grows by 2.6% to 186,698 drams

The gross median monthly salary in Armenia totaled 186,698 drams in 2016 April (the equivalent of $388 dollars or 25,823 Russian rubles), which was 2.6% more than in April of the previous year, according to the latest data, released by the National Statistical Service (NSS).
