President pleased with auditing chamber work

YEREVAN, January 22, /ARKA/. Armenian president Serzh Sargsyan said he was pleased with the work of the Auditing Chamber in 2009.

“I have the feeling of satisfaction with the work of Auditing Chamber in 2009, but this does not mean that all problems are solved and there is no room for development,’ he said during a meeting with the staff of the Auditing Chamber today.

“In 2010 you will need to improve the way you present your work to our citizens, the figures you cite should be convincing and reliable,’ the president said.

The president said Armenia has numerous problems and only naïve people with no idea how much and how big they are, who have no idea either about administration methods and human resources, may think they can be solved by one stroke.

He said the staff of the Auditing Chamber should tune themselves up to a long and persistent work to eliminate the existing problems and that their goal is not only to reveal problems but also help solve them.  -0-
