YEREVAN, November 28. /ARKA/. The www. teleсom.arka.am website is available in English now.

The ARKA News Agency launched the new project on November 3. The website provides on-line information, analyses and interviews, as well as presents the opinions of experts in high and information technologies.

“Site has been operating in Armenian and Russian over a month, and its traffic demonstrates public interest in the information available on it,” ARKA reports.

Considering its foreign partners’ growing interest in Armenia’s telecommunications and IT sector, the agency decided to launch an English-language version of the site.

“We are thus extending the access to the site and to the information, comments and analyses of the market situation, companies’ plans for English-speaking visitors,” the report says.

The ARKA News Agency has a wide experience in high and information technologies. In 2003-2005, as part of the Armenia Development Gateway, ARKA published a monthly bulletin on the Armenian IT market,
BIT@E, which was popular with specialists. The ARKA News Agency has repeatedly acted as information sponsor of various IT events.

The ARKA News Agency launched its activities on May 1, 1996, its specialization being economic and financial information. –0--
