Spain not to close banks for AID
YEREVAN, June 14. /ARKA/. Spain’s government is not going to close troubled banks to receive financial aid from the European Union, stated the Secretary of State for Economic Affairs, Fernando Jimenez Latorre.
This statement was a comment to the speculations in media that the EU will allocated 100 billion euro loan in exchange for closing some troubled banks, RIA Novosti reports.
Besides the conditions mentioned above, some media sources released information that the EU will grant a loan to Spain at 3-4% annual rate.
Earlier, Prime Minister of Spain Mariano Rahoy repeatedly said that the country will accept the aid without any conditions.-0-
