ArmRosgazprom tops the list of Armenia’s largest taxpayers for i quarter this year

YEREVAN, May 4. /ARKA/. ArmRosgazprom company tops the list of 1000 largest taxpayers of Armenia published by the government’s State Revenue Committee for the first quarter of 2012. 

According to the data, in the first quarter of this year the company replenished the state budget with over 11.9 billion drams against nearly 7.4 billion within January-March of 2011.

In reference to this, nearly 11.9 billion drams were collected by the tax authorities, and about 72.4 million- by customs. At the same time over 596.2 million drams were paid by the company in direct taxes (income tax, profit tax), nearly 11.3 billion drams- in indirect taxes (including VAT, excise tax), another 61.1 million drams were registered as other taxes, duties and obligatory payments.

Zangezur Copper and Molybdenum Combine is the second largest taxpayer according to the publication. It replenished the state budget with over 5.2 billion drams versus nearly 7.5 billion drams from the first quarter of 2011. The tax authorities collected 4.9 billion drams, and customs- over 359.5 drams. 

The other top taxpayers of Armenia are Alex Grig company that paid over 3.9 billion drams in taxes in the first quarter of this year against over 4.6 billion drams from a year earlier, K-Telecom (VivaCell-MTS trademark)- over 2.7 billion versus over 2.4 billion drams in January-March of 2011. Flesh company is the last in top 5 taxpayers, that replenished the budget with 2.4 billion drams in the first quarter of this year against over 1.9 billion drams from a year earlier. 

In total, in the first quarter of 2012, 1000 largest taxpayers of Armenia delivered to the state budget over 121.3 billion drams against 106.5 billion drams from the same period last year. ($1 –391.87 drams). —0-
