Armenian parliament to start debating new government plan of actions Monday

Armenia’s National Assembly will start Monday debates over the new government's plan of actions, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan said today.
YEREVAN, May 16. / ARKA /. Armenia’s National Assembly will start Monday debates over the new government's plan of actions, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan said today.
"Tomorrow we will complete the editorial work and will send the program to the National Assembly, which will start discussing it on Monday, as prescribed by our Constitution,” Sargsyan said at a Cabinet meeting today.
Chief of the government staff, Vache Gabrielyan, said the plan of actions includes five main areas: safe and secure Armenia, creation of jobs with fair wages, free and fair Armenia, human capital and institutional development. He said the document has preserved all targets of the previous program, particularly, doubling the minimum wage, poverty reduction by 8-10%, creation of 100,000 new jobs, rise in pensions and increasing the share of taxes in the GDP.
The new government's program comprises also provisions of president Sargsyan’s election programs regarding economic growth, unemployment, immigration, democracy and the rule of law issues. -0-
